Abstract We study the problem of sharing revenues from broadcasting sports leagues axiomatically. Our key axiom is anonymity, classical impartiality axiom. Other axioms already studied in problems are equal treatment equals, weak equals and symmetry. relationship between all axioms. Besides we combine anonymity with other that have been considered literature. Some combinations give rise to new characterizations well-known rules. The family generalized split rules characterized additivity null team. concede-and-divide rule essential characterize had not before. provide three which same (anonymity, additivity, order preservation) fourth one different (maximum aspirations, upper bound, non-negativity).
